Bernardon’s Team is Growing

Bernardon is excited to announce the addition of four new team members.

• Sierra Hogan who worked in our Philadelphia office during the summer of 2019 returns to us this summer for another internship.  An architecture major at Pennsylvania State University, she has completed her fourth of a five-year program.  While at Penn State, Sierra works as a research assistant researching the use of generative algorithms and shape grammars in optimizing adaptive re-use.  In 2022, Sierra will study a semester abroad in Copenhagen.

• We also welcome back former summer intern Armaan Michael who now joins the firm as a full-time team member in our Wilmington office.  A graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Armaan received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture with a concentration in Emerging Technologies in 2020, and a Master of Architecture in 2021.  Armaan is interested in sustainability, nature, and culture.

• Sara Papillo is a summer intern in the Wilmington office.  Sara has completed her sophomore year at Pennsylvania State University where she is pursuing a degree in Architecture.  In addition to her studies, Sara is involved in Club Figure Skating (she is a figure skating coach as well), Solar Decathlon Design Challenge Team, and Phi Eta Sigma Sorority.

• The Wester Chester Landscape Architecture team welcomes Jessica Toy.  Jess is a 2021 graduate of the University of Delaware where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Landscape Architecture.  While attending the University of Delaware, she was involved with the Affiliated Delaware Landscape Architects (DeLA) as Treasurer, Philadelphia Flower Show Club, and People for Puerto Rico.

Since joining the firm, each has contributed to the success of our projects, and we look forward to their continued professional and personal growth.  Welcome, Sierra, Armaan, Sara, and Jess!
