Bernardon Celebrates National and Regional Recognition

This year Bernardon is celebrating 45 years in business providing architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture design services to the greater Philadelphia area. It’s an exciting time for the firm as we’ve not only reached this incredible milestone, but we’re undergoing unprecedented growth – and people are starting to notice.

The firm has been honored with rankings on notable regional and national lists that highlight growth within the architecture and engineering industries. These lists recognize and rank firms based on growth and revenue, including specified categories such as design-specific revenue:

2018 Hot Firm List organized by the Zweig Group. This year we rank #39 on this list which recognizes the 100 fastest-growing architecture, engineering, planning, and environmental consulting firms in the United States. Firms are ranked by revenue and percentage of growth over the past three years.

Engineering News-Records Mid-Atlantic Top Design Firms 2018 list . Ranking the largest U.S.-based design firms, this list bases its rankings on design-specific revenue. This year, we rank #83 among the largest firms in the nation. Not only are companies recognized on the list, but their largest project to break ground in 2017 is included in the announcement. Our featured project is The Tower at STAR Campus located at the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware.

Our design of The Tower at STAR Campus created a new home for the University of Delaware’s College of Health Sciences in 2018 and undoubtedly is an impressive project not only in terms of its new tenants, but in size and scope. We are excited to include a building that’s a powerful symbol of growth and innovation in higher education to our portfolio.

Architectural Record’s 2018 Top 300 Architecture Firms list. Landing at #260 out of 300 architecture firms, this is our first appearance on this list and we’re thrilled to be recognized among the top 300 firms in the United States. Companies featured on this list are ranked by revenue exclusively generated by architectural services in 2017.

Philadelphia Business Journal: Architectural firms with the most 2017 billings for Architectural services. Released in June 2018, this list ranks firms by fee volume and based on billings from 2017, we rank #8 in the Philadelphia region.
