A $24 million expansion and renovation embodies Dunwoody Village’s commitment to offering residents first-class amenities, facilities, and programming

Featured in the June 2022 House and Home section of Suburban Life magazine, Matt Cosentino features Dunwoody Village in an article titled, “A $24 million expansion and renovation embodies Dunwoody Village’s commitment to offering residents first-class amenities, facilities, and programming.”

An official ribbon cutting ceremony was held at Dunwoody Village on April 27, 2022 to celebrate the completion of the Phase I expansion project. Phase II is anticipated to be completed in the winter of 2022. Project Team members for the $24 million expansion and renovation included the leadership, staff, and residents of Dunwoody Village, NorthStar Owners Representation, Bernardon, Baker Ingram & Associates, FXB Engineering, and Warfel Construction Company.

“The footprint that was here was from when it was originally built in the 1970s,” says Monica Knauss, Dunwoody’s community relations coordinator. “Subsequently, we’ve added more residential homes, but we had never increased the size of the community center. We now have a size that suits our population, along with the fresh look that we needed. It’s been so exciting over the past two months to see the residents utilizing these new spaces.”
