Saint-Gobain and CertainTeed HQ Wins AIA Delaware Design Award

Saint-Gobain and CertainTeed HQ Wins AIA Delaware Design Award
April 20, 2017

Bernardon is pleased to announce that the Core and Shell for the Saint-Gobain and CertainTeed North American Headquarters has received a Merit Award from the Delaware Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).

The biennial AIA Delaware Design Awards Program is dedicated to recognizing significant achievements of its Members in planning, design, and execution of architectural projects; establishing a standard of excellence against which architects can measure their own performance; promoting public awareness and appreciation of the value of architecture and architectural practice; and to promoting the work of our AIA Delaware members.

For each program, the Design Awards features a jury comprised of architect practitioners representing firm sizes and diversity of practices similar in nature to those of AIA Delaware’s membership and a public member/business person closely related to the architecture and design industry. The Merit Award is defined as acknowledging projects that clearly demonstrate a level of design that exemplifies superior achievement.

Design Awards were presented at the AIA DEsign Ball on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, where Bernardon accepted the award with other members of the project team (see below).
