New Talents Join Bernardon Team

Bernardon is pleased to announce the latest additions to our team: Lauren Wesley, Kelechi Chukwueke, Douglas Perry, Kristina Simcic, and Melissa Mayer-Benedetti. 

Lauren Wesley has joined the firm’s interior design studio in Wilmington. She is a recent graduate who holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Moore College of Art & Design, where her thesis was titled “Unplugged: A Music Hub for Philadelphia Teens.”

Kelechi Chukwueke is a recent graduate who has joined the firm’s interior design studio in Philadelphia. Kelechi grew up in Nigeria and moved to Philadelphia to pursue her education.  She graduated from Drexel University in June with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design and a Minor in Art History.

Douglas E. Perry, AIA has joined the firm in Kennett Square. He is a registered architect with 14 years of experience in architectural design. He holds a Masters in Architecture from the University of Nebraska and is certified by the Green Building Certification Institute as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED® AP).

Kristina Simcic, AIA, is a registered architect with 9 years of experience who has joined the firm’s office in Philadelphia.  She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art, where she has since served as a guest lecturer and guest critic.

Melissa Mayer-Benedetti, IIDA is a NCIDQ-certified Interior Designer with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Philadelphia University. With over 9 years of experience, she has a strong interest in the successful collaboration of interior design and architectural design.
