Project Director - Philadelphia:

Our team currently has an opening in our Philadelphia office for a Project Director (minimum 10 years of experience) who will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including working jointly with Design Principals relative to the internal and external tasks of managing, executing, and coordinating architectural projects as well as preparing design and construction documents, and managing/coordinating construction administration services. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and a broad base of experience in all aspects of design, documentation, and construction administration. A first professional degree in architecture (B. Arch or M. Arch) and architectural licensure is required. An advanced command of Revit is essential. Multifamily, mixed-use, senior living, and wood frame construction design expertise is a must.

Intern Architect - Philadelphia and West Chester:

Our team is currently seeking creative and passionate intern architects (0-5 years of experience) to join our team in all three offices. Individuals will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including generating design concepts, preparing architectural plans and renderings, and observing/surveying architectural features of structures in the field. Ideal candidates will have a tenacious and energetic spirit, as well as a professional degree in architecture; excellent design, digital modeling and rendering abilities; and an advanced command of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Photoshop and PowerPoint. Multifamily, mixed-use, senior living, and wood frame construction design expertise is a plus.

Architect/Designer - Philadelphia:

Our team is currently seeking a seasoned architect/designer (minimum 5 years of experience) who will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including working jointly with Design Principals relative to the internal task of organizing, executing, and coordinating project assignments as well as preparing design and construction documents, and coordinating construction administration services. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills and a broad base of experience in all aspects of design and construction administration. A first professional degree in architecture (B. Arch or M. Arch) and current pursuit of architectural licensure is required. An advanced command of Revit is essential. Multifamily, mixed-use, senior living, healthcare, and/or higher education design expertise is a plus.

Business Development Director:

Our team currently has an opening for a Business Development Director. As a primary advocate of Bernardon’s Culture, Vision, and Mission, the Business Development Director will report to the Vice President for Marketing and Professional Services and will be responsible for establishing contacts with new prospects in the firm’s designated market sectors and coordinates those contacts between staff and new prospects; advising marketing principals of actions, schedules, prospects, and related business development activities on continual basis; assisting in the supervision of other business development team members as applicable; coordinating with the firm’s marketing staff to help ensure timely RFP and RFQ responses, submittals, presentations and proposals related to new prospects and opportunities; organizing and manages input to the firm’s business development administrative system and resources; and assisting Vice President for Marketing and Professional Services with goals, objectives, strategies, and budget requirements for developing new business. The ideal candidate shall possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing or related field, as well as have 10 years of experience in business development/sales in the architecture/engineering industry.
